How to represent the requirement traceability in Graphical View in DOORS?

For Eg., from one Requriement to design, design to Test plan, Test plan to Test result

note : in/out links are established between requirement, design, Test plan and Test result

I don't think this can be done well.  Perhaps though you could have an attr-DXL that displays summaries of various linked objects, then define such an attr-DXL in the Graphical view.  Perhaps this attr-DXL also summarizes the current object.

  • ObjID Text
  • "has these test cases"
  • .. summary of linked test cases

Try my Smart Explorer.

This doesn't display individual requirements, but displays a graphical representation of the relationships between modules.

You can use this view to help reviewers understand the relationships shown in your textual traceability reports.

Be aware that it uses linksets, not actual links.

While executing the product scripts of  Requirements Quality Analysis from http://www.smartdxl.com/content/?page_id=17  , i was getting fallowing error ,

 

-R-E- DXL: <Line:2262> cannot open file (U:\QA Report for TML_Infotainment_USB playback_Spec_15Dec15_v1_6.html) for writing (Invalid argument)
Backtrace:
    <Line:3433> 

 

As  I am new to Doors & Scripting , will you please help me in resolving this issue.

Do u have a drive mapped to U:.

If not, do the mapping.
